Points Leader Grant Enfinger to take on Tricky Triangle

(Mooresville, NC – June 3, 2014) After earning a top-5 finish at what he thought would be the toughest race of the season, Enfinger heads to the next race on schedule, Pocono Raceway with Team BCR.

History at Pocono:  Grant Enfinger has made three starts at the Tricky Triangle, two of those being in 2011 and then once with Team BCR in 2012. His average start at the track is 8th while his average finish is 5th.

Season Recap: Team BCR and Enfinger will head to Pocono as the 2014 ARCA Racing Series Points Leader. They made history this season winning the first three races of the year at Daytona, Mobile and Salem. Enfinger also holds a pole award and a top-10 finish at Talladega, as well as a top-5 finish at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Marketing Partners: Motor Honey/Casite and Advance Auto Parts will serve as the Primary Marketing Partners on the No. 90 Ford Fusion powered by RoushYates Engines. Associate Marketing Partners include Stanley Industries, Wurth USA and Triple K Construction.

Meet Grant Enfinger: Grant and other ARCA Racing Series drivers will attend an autograph session on Saturday morning from 9:45-10:15am in the autograph area just outside the track.

Q & A with Grant Enfinger

How confident are you with the Motor Honey/Casite Ford Fusion going into the Pocono race?

“I am very confident our No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite Ford will be in contention this week. Team BCR has put a lot of effort into our intermediate track program and I think this will show at Pocono. This is a Championship caliber team with the determination to succeed.”

Pocono has removed the curbing that was in turn 2 and installed a 15-foot apron for safety purposes. How do you think those changes will affect racing in that area?

“I honestly didn’t even know they did that. I think that will change a lot of how we drive that section of the track. I think it will also give some drivers an advantage if they need the opportunity to go low in that section.”

Tune into the Race: The Pocono ARCA 200 will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports 1 on Saturday, June 7 at 1pm ET. Practice for the race will take place on Friday, June 7 from 10-11:50am. Menards Pole Qualifying will begin on Friday at 2:30pm ET.
