International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200 Event Preview
Talladega Facts… Grant Enfinger, driver of the No. 23 Beasley Allen Lawyers / Alamo Rent-A-Car Chevrolet Impala has five prior starts on the famed 2.6-mile Talladega Superspeedway. The Fairhope, Ala. native comes into this weekend with a 95-point advantage over second-place Austin Wayne Self in the championship point standings.
History at Talladega… Enfinger made his Talladega debut in 2009 where he scored a third-place finish. In the most recent trip to ‘Dega, he qualified on the pole and led 35-laps en route to finishing ninth in 2014. In five career starts at Talladega, Enfinger has one top-five, three top-ten finishes, and has led 89 laps.
2015 to Date… Enfinger and GMS Racing have had a stellar start to the 2015 season. For the second straight year, Enfinger began the season with three consecutive victories. This weekend, GMS Racing has the opportunity to become the first organization to sweep the ARCA restrictor plate races since Kyle Busch and Blake Feese won at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway (DIS) and Talladega, respectively, driving for team owner Rick Hendrick.
Chassis Choice… Enfinger will pilot chassis No. 926 Friday evening. The chassis most recently visited victory lane with Enfinger behind the wheel at DIS, winning the 2015 Lucas Oil 200.
LIVE on FOX Sports 1… The ARCA Racing Series International Motorsports Hall of Fame 200 at Talladega Superspeedway will begin at 6 p.m. Eastern Time and will be televised on FOX Sports 1 on Friday, May 1st.

“We have a really strong superspeedway program here at GMS Racing which showed at Daytona, with our teammate (Scott Sheldon) running in the top 10, and we worked really well together. We will use the same Beasley Allen Lawyers / Alamo Rent-a-Car Chevrolet that won at Daytona and are making some minor adjustments for this weekend.
