No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite, Allegiant Travel Chevrolet

This Week’s GMS Racing’s Chevrolet at Salem Speedway … Grant Enfinger will pilot Chassis No. 201 in the Federated Car Care ARCA Fall Classic presented by JayC Food Stores at Salem Speedway. This GMS Racing chassis has previously unloaded four times this season: at Salem Speedway earlier this season, at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, at Berlin Raceway, and at Madison International Speedway. Enfinger last started this Ryan “Pickle” London-prepared Chevrolet at Madison International Speedway on August 24, where Enfinger, who spent 120 laps leading the 28-car field, had his powerful rally fall short when a rear-end gear broke, resulting in a 15th-place finish. He also drove this chassis to victory lane at Berlin Raceway after qualifying in the second position.

Enfinger at Salem Speedway … This weekend marks Enfinger’s fifth appearance at the .555-mile paved oval. Earlier this season, the Fairhope, Ala. driver drove to victory lane after a qualifying effort of second. Enfinger has earned one top-five finish and three top-10 finishes, with an average starting position of 6.5 and an average finishing position of 10.0 at the track.

Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3 … Having the familiarity of a recent test session at Salem Speedway will pay off for Enfinger this weekend. Enfinger put the No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite, Allegiant Travel Chevrolet through its paces under the watchful eye of crew chief Ryan “Pickle” London on Tuesday during a team test session.

Where He Stands … Enfinger is in second place in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards driver point standings, only 20 points behind the leader.

Leading the Way … By leading 183 laps in the two most recent races, Enfinger has now led for more than 1,000 laps during the 2014 ARCA Racing Series season. Enfinger has led 1,070 laps of 2,409 total laps through the first 17 events.

Sweet as Honey Sponsorship … The No. 90 Chevrolet team will sport the blue and orange colors this weekend at Salem Speedway, with Motor Honey/Casite adorning the hood and Allegiant Travel on the quarter panels.

Meet Enfinger … Enfinger is scheduled to participate in an autograph session with the ARCA Racing Series on the track from 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 13.

In the Rearview Mirror: DuQuoin State Fairgrounds … Grant Enfinger earned a memorable race win on September 1 at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds in his No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite, Allegiant Travel Chevrolet, occurring on only his fourth career ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards start on dirt as well as only his second start at the DuQuoin, Ill. facility.

Grant Enfinger Quote:
“I am looking forward to getting to Salem Speedway this weekend with our Motor Honey/Casite, Allegiant Travel team. I love the track, and short tracks have been really strong for us this year. I know they have changed the track some in Turn 3 and Turn 4, but the result will be the same for everyone, and I think our GMS Racing team will figure it out. I think we have some great things happening at GMS Racing and I’m looking forward to all the remaining races.”
