Grant Enfinger’s Dominating Mid-Season Recap

(Mooresville, NC – June 26, 2014)  Grant Enfinger has had a season to dream about, winning four races, leading the points hunt for the championship and leading more laps in the season than any other driver. Many accomplishments for the veteran driver and team, who have only reached the mid-point of the season.

“Working with Team BCR has been great,” says Grant Enfinger. “Team BCR and Howard (Bixman) have provided me with competitive winning race cars. It’s been a learning experience for everyone involved, but it’s very rewarding to see some of our hard work and all-nighters at the shop transferred into on-track success.”

Team BCR and Enfinger were originally scheduled for 10 TV-races at the beginning of the 2014 season. After making history winning the first three races of season including Daytona, Mobile and Salem, Motor Honey/Casite and the rest of the No. 90 team’s Marketing Partners encouraged the team to run for the 2014 ARCA Racing Series Championship, and that’s exactly what they set out to do.

Enfinger says, “It means the world to be able to compete for the ARCA Championship this year. It takes so much effort by so many people to make it possible, but I’m happy that Team BCR and Motor Honey/Casite have fully committed to the Championship hunt.”

Not only has the driver won four races this season, including his Akona 250 victory at Elko Speedway this past weekend, but Grant has led more than half of all laps this season with a total of 647 laps led.

“We’ve had an amazing season so far,” says the No. 90 driver. “It’s hard to believe how far Team BCR has come in a short amount of time. With Howard Bixman’s dedication and focus, he has built one of the most competitive winning teams in this series. We have to keep doing what we are doing and we need to make our intermediate program stronger. We have a lot of races coming up and not many weekends off, so preparation is imperative.”

As Team BCR continues to succeed throughout the season, what are Grant’s career plans moving forward?

“The decision for my career path to this point has been somewhat of a simple process, take whatever opportunity I can find that gets us to the next race. The relationships that have been made here with the team, and with our marketing partners have the potential for long-term success. I would love to be in competitive equipment in a NASCAR series next year, but so much is dictated by circumstances outside of our control to be able to know what next year will bring for us.”

Enfinger continued, “All I know now is that I’m thankful for being with a winning organization like Team BCR. My success wouldn’t be possible without our wonderful partners: Casite, Motor Honey, Advance Auto Parts, Triple K Construction, Franklin Fastener, Stanley Industries, Wurth USA and Ford Racing.”
