10/6 – Disappointing End to a Successful Season for Enfinger and Team BCR
Disappointing End to a Successful Season for Enfinger and Team BCR
(Kansas City, KS – October 6, 2013) What could have been a great qualifying run for Grant Enfinger, turned very bad when contact was made with the wall on the second lap. Team BCR was forced to withdrawal the No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite Ford Fusion from the Kansas Lottery 98.9 at Kansas Speedway. Enfinger would have started 5th in the season finale race.
Team BCR and Grant Enfinger had a winning season together; capturing Team BCR’s and Grant Enfinger’s first career ARCA win at Mobile Int’l Speedway and then gaining another win at Iowa Speedway.
“I’m very proud of this team and Grant,” says Team Manager/Crew Chief, Howard Bixman. “We were determined to attend as many races as we could this season and then take home as many wins as possible. That wouldn’t have been possible without our primary marketing partner Motor Honey/Casite who have been very supportive of our program all year. Triple K Construction, Hewes Concrete Polishing, Stanley Industries, American Hammered, Wurth, Ford Racing, RoushYates Performance Parts and RoushYates Engines were also a big part of our success this season. We’re very grateful to have the association with our marketing partners. We look forward to having them along for the 2014 season.”
Grant Enfinger only made 8 starts in the 2013 ARCA Racing Series season and managed to capture 2 wins and gain 4 top-five finishes.
Enfinger said, “It’s too bad we couldn’t compete for a win this weekend. We’ve all been putting a lot of hours and effort into this car. Overall, Team BCR and I have had a great season together. I can’t thank Howard Bixman enough for putting as much effort into this program and helping me succeed in my career. We’re looking forward to next season now. Hopefully we can come home with a few more wins and compete for a Championship.”
