9/16 – Enfinger Looking for Redemption at Kentucky Speedway

Team BCR Racing and Development Team: Grant Enfinger Looks for Redemption at
Kentucky Speedway

(Mooresville, NC – September 16, 2013) For competing in only 7 races this season in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, Team BCR and Grant Enfinger have phenomenal results, winning two races so far. With only two races left in the series’ schedule, Enfinger and Team BCR have one goal set and that is to visit victory lane twice more.

The ARCA Racing Series hasn’t made an appearance at Kentucky Speedway since 2009 where Enfinger came close to a win. Enfinger will be looking for redemption at this track in the No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite Ford Fusion. In the 2009 race at Kentucky, Enfinger was set to win the race, going into the final turn of the final lap of the race in the lead until current NASCAR Nationwide Series Driver, Parker Kligerman overtook Enfinger to win the race by only .599 seconds.

“We came so close to winning in 2009 at Kentucky so I know Team BCR and I are capable of getting our third win this season together,” says Fairhope, AL Driver, Grant Enfinger. “The crew at Team BCR has been working hard on our Kentucky car. This has been a very successful season for us and we’re looking forward to another strong finish. I want to thank Howard Bixman for the endless hours of dedication him and the crew puts in. Also for giving me this opportunity and providing me with great equipment. We have such a small budget and to be as successful as we’ve been this year shows you the heart and depth of this whole organization. This is a championship calibiar team and I’m so grateful and proud to be apart of it.”

“It’s been a successful year for everybody involved with this No. 90 car,” says Team Manager and Crew Chief Howard Bixman. “Grant and I put a plan together last year to try to secure marketing partners and set out to win a race. With that being said, we as a group have accomplished both and we’re not done yet. Working with Grant over the years, I have come to find is the most talented, dedicated drivers I know.”

“Grant deserves a chance to run for a Championship in 2014, and if we are given that opportunity, we will accompish that. I want to thank our partners for all they do; Motor Honey, Casite, American Hammered, Stanley Industries, Triple K Construction, Wurth, RoushYates Engines, Ford Racing, GoMRF.com, RoushYates Performance Parts, and Raceartist.com. They have all given us the support we need for the No. 90 team at every race this year.”

The ZLOOP 150 will take place on Friday, September 20 for a one-day show. Practice is scheduled for 1-3:30pm ET. Menards Pole Qualifying will begin at 5:15pm ET. The start of the ZLOOP 150 is at 8pm ET and will be live on Fox Sports 1.
