6/17 – Top 5 Finish for Grant Enfinger and Team BCR
Top 5 Finish for Grant Enfinger and Team BCR
(Brooklyn, MI – June 17, 2013) Grant Enfinger, once again, had a race-winning car for the Patriot Pumps ARCA 200 at Michigan International Speedway. Coming close to a win, Enfinger finished the race in 5th.
Enfinger qualified for the race in 8th with the No. 90 Motor Honey/Casite, Stanley Industries Ford Fusion. Quickly making up the spots he needed to lead the race, Enfinger made his way up to 4th by lap 30.
Grant made the comment that the car was real tight and would like the car to be freed up on the next stop. Even with the one unpleasant condition, Grant still believed the car was at least a top three finisher.
Crew Chief, Kelly Kovski instructed Enfinger to come in to pit on lap 72. A quick pit stop helped send the No. 90 Ford Fusion out to the front of the field, leading 5 laps of the race. Kelly Kovski commented to Grant Enfinger over the radio, “I did what I said I would do for you, now go win this.”
Winning the race would not be easy only taking two Hoosier tires while the rest of the leaders put on four. It was a gamble taking two tires, but Enfinger and Team BCR took the chance wanting the clean air. Enfinger settled for a 5th place finish.
“We had the ability to win this race, but I wasn’t able to keep up with the rest of the leaders after our last pit stop, ” says Fairhope, AL Native, Grant Enfinger. “Howard (Bixman) and this crew build and give me great cars every race. I want to thank Kelly for coming in and helping this week. Everybody did a great job, we just came up a little short this week.”

Enfinger also mentioned, “We were very happy to have some of the staff from The Casite Company at this race. Miss Motor Honey signed autographs and helped promote the Show Me Your Motor Honey Contest. Corporate Staff from Stanley Industries were also at the race. Both company’s World Headquarters are based in Michigan. We’re very grateful to be partnered with these National Companies.”
Team Manager, Howard Bixman was pleased with the results this weekend. “Having both of our cars in the top ten this week was great for the entire company. I’m proud to have an entire team working so hard to put competitive cars on the track each week.”
Also, mentioned by Bixman, “It’s too bad we weren’t able to put the No. 90 in victory lane at Michigan for our Marketing Partners. We have a great driver, competitive cars and the ability to win races. It says a lot for the depth of this small company. I would like to thank our Marketing Partners The Casite Company, Stanley Industries, Triple K Construction, Hewes Concrete, Wurth and GOMRF.org. We appreciate all their support.”
