Chatting with Grant Enfinger…

As the points leader, how do you summarize the first half of your season?

“Overall, solid. A top-five truck pretty much everywhere we go. We’ve had a couple opportunities slip away from us that we could have probably ended up in victory lane. So, that’s definitely next on our list – to get the monkey off our back and get a win. The 98 group as a whole is plugin away and we’re clicking really well, but ThorSport Racing, the entire organization, is running really, really good right now.”

Is WWT Raceway a track you look forward to getting back to?

“We got the pole (at World Wide Technology Raceway) last year, but cut a left rear tire down – we had really good speed out of our Ford F-150. Man, I’m looking forward to getting back there. It’s a really awesome track, its kind of like Iowa, it’s a little bit different from what we normally run, but it’s a lot of fun. We have Champion Power Equipment back on our Ford F-150 this weekend, so I’m excited to have them back. We need to get this team back in victory lane this weekend. It’ll be good for the Gander Outdoors Triple Truck Challenge.”
