• Georgia On My Mind… Grant Enfinger will make his fifth career start at AMS in Saturday’s Vet Tix Camping World 200. In four previous starts at the 1.54-mile track, the ThorSport Racing driver has a track-best start of fourth (2016) and has led eight laps en route to two top-five and four top-10 finishes.
• 2020 Playoff Outlook… After three races this season, Enfinger is the only Gander Truck Series regular to win a race in 2020, therefore the only driver to lock himself into the 2020 Playoffs on wins. However, if the Playoffs were to start today, Enfinger and the No. 98 ThorSport Racing team would be tied for second, with teammate Johnny Sauter, based on Playoff Points. Each driver would respectively have 10 Playoff Points.
• This Week’s No. 98 FarmPaint.com/Curb Records Ford F-150… The No. 98 ThorSport Racing team will unload chassis No. 42 for Saturday’s 200-lap event at AMS. This particular chassis will make it’s 2020 debut, but had five starts in 2019 with three top-five and five top-10 finishes.
• Intermediate Track Facts… In 37 starts on an intermediate-size track (1.5-1.54-miles) in his NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series career, Enfinger has three poles (Homestead, 2018, Texas-1, 2019 and Kentucky, 2020), one win (Las Vegas, 2018), and has led 281 laps en route to 10 top-five, and 24 top-10 finishes.
• Truck Series Stats… Enfinger has 86 career Gander Truck starts to his credit since 2010. His success includes 615 laps led en route to three wins, five poles, 29 top-five and 54 top-10 finishes.
• Take Me Back – Charlotte… Enfinger started ninth, finished 12th in Stage 1, 21st in Stage 2 and 12th in the NC Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
• Our Fearless Leader… 2020 marks the fourth season that veteran crew chief Jeff Hensley has called the shots for the No. 98 team. In 17 seasons in the Gander Truck Series, Hensley has earned 15 wins, including two at AMS with driver’s Mike Skinner (2007) and Ron Hornaday, Jr. (2011).
• Ford Fact… Ford-powered F-150’s have found victory lane 100 times since 1995 in the Gander Truck Series. However, AMS is one of only four tracks on the 2020 schedule that Ford Performance has yet to find victory lane.

Chatting with Grant Enfinger…

“Atlanta (Motor Speedway) is an awesome track with a ton of character. It has one of the most abrasive surfaces as well as a lot of bumps. With all of that it provides us with multiple grooves to use during the course of a tire run. We had a good run there last year and we are bringing a similar setup in our ThorSport Racing F-150. Hopefully we can make it a touch better and get Ford Performance their first Gander Trucks win at Atlanta on Saturday.”
