TOP-10 FINISH FOR GRANT ENFINGER AT CHARLOTTE

“We started out the day terrible – we we’re just out to lunch. Jeff Hensley (crew chief), Josh Hankish (truck chief) and all the guys worked really hard on this Protect The Harvest Ford F-150. They got it drivable. They were able to make it a good truck by the time we qualified and raced. We were a third-place truck, we had nothing for the 51, but we had a solid truck all night. We finished third in both stages, felt like we should have finished up there – I’m very disappointed with this ninth-place finish. We just didn’t have the breaks we needed with track position, restarts or the rows we had to line-up in. Overall though, very proud of the speed we had from where we started the day, and the speed we had compared to our two previous runs here. I feel like Charlotte Motor Speedway will finally not be a place I dread coming back to next year. I’m just very thankful for Duke and Rhonda Thorson, Mike Curb, Champion Power Equipment, Protect The Harvest – just everyone that allows us to do this.”
