TRACK-BEST START NETS A STAGE WIN FOR GRANT ENFINGER, BUT A MID-RACE INCIDENT RELEGATES THE CHAMPION POWER EQUIPMENT DRIVER TO A 16TH-PLACE FINISH AT CHICAGO

“Tonight was just unfortunate. We had a heck of a Champion Power Equipment Ford F-150, and we had a lot of the Champion guys here tonight – a lot of the guys that allow us to do this. Duke Thorson was here, he doesn’t come to a lot of these, so we really wanted to bring home the checkered flag for those guys, and for all the guys that work their butts off on this thing every week. The guys made perfect adjustments from practice to the race. Man, I thought it was going to be our night, but had it taken away. After the Stage win, we restarted second, was taken four-wide, and I had to back out of the gas – wrecked twice in one lap, but could only save it once. The guys did a great job fixing the truck after the wreck to keep it going. Just disappointed.”
