“Tough night here in Charlotte (Motor Speedway), ended up 12th. We had an issue that just killed us on track position all night and we just weren’t quite good enough to overcome it. Jeff Hensley (crew chief) made some good calls, we made it a lot better – actually pretty decent in the corner. We had a few areas that we still needed to improve on, but it wasn’t terrible, we just couldn’t get up there in the clean air where we needed to be. Disappointed in that for sure, but we’ll regroup and be good for Atlanta (Motor Speedway).”
